They use only environmentally friendly materials such as wood, ceramics, fabric, metal and paper. The SKITSO studio is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2012, FLATYZ started with a mission: to completely reshape the traditional candle. Our founders wanted to create the world’s first flat candle, a unique canvas for hand-painted designs. Each FLATYZ candle is carefully hand-poured and hand-painted by skilled craftsmen in Lithuania. This artisanal process makes each candle authentic and unique. With over 200 designs, our candles add atmosphere to any room and make every moment special. Creating a flat candle is a precise process. It starts with the right composition of paraffin, followed by temperature control, shaping, processing and decorating. Our dedicated team at FLATYZ masters all these techniques to perfection. Our flat candle with a solid base is a patented invention. We create a unique product that breaks the traditional ideas about candles. Each candle is hand-poured and carefully decorated by our talented craftsmen, using various artisanal techniques. FLATYZ stands for innovation and craftsmanship and prides itself on making the most special, handmade candles in the world.
