About us

Loopvis is a social enterprise and publisher of upcycled papergoods and Kakerlaken: booklets that are small enough to send by snail mail. Every booklet is richly illustrated and filled with a combination of poetry, short stories, lyrics and recipes. All written and illustrated especially for the occasion.
At Loopvis we work as circularly and inclusive as possible. But no matter how hard we try, there are always residual flows. From misprints and promotional material to cardboard boxes. For all those leftovers – of our own ánd other company’s – we started Silferfish paper goods; a small paper workshop where our Silverfishers (people who could use some extra support) learn how to make beautiful things from paper waste.

About the Little Roaches
Five years ago Loopvis launched the Dutch Kakkerlakjes. Each booklet has ‘sending allure’, just like a postcard, provides space for a personal message and comes with an envelope. They spread fast (just like vermin) with more than 150 titles now.

This year we launched a spinner with 12 carefully selected German Kakerlaken. Perfect to send or gift at different occasions. Filled with beautiful illustrations and a combination of poetry, short stories, lyrics and recipes. All written and illustrated especially for the series.
