Ilse Bouwens was inspired by contemporary architecture. The roof at the front is a striking feature. It tapers to a point, forming a contemporary canopy. The way the openings are designed gives the bird feeder a stately, almost monumental character. The house is made of sustainable bamboo. Sturdy metal surrounds this bamboo house, forming the walls, roof, and floor. Designer Ilse chose Petrol Blue for the color. This neutral shade contains shades of blue, green, and even gray.

The Happy Bird Feeder has two openings on the front. This makes it easy for birds to pop in, and the food can be quickly replenished. You can even place a fattening ball inside. To clean it, simply slide the bamboo feeder out of the metal sleeve.
