If you are not familiar with natural solid perfume, stop by our stand M06 and try it.

They are fragrant, environmentally friendly, skin-friendly, creative and practical to use.

Solid perfume is not a new invention, it has been around for about 5000 years. It all started in Egypt, which is considered the cradle of perfumery. Perfume was then used in religious rituals and funeral rites. This perfume tradition expanded over time to daily life. In religious processes, perfume was mainly used in two forms:

1. By burning, from which the name “perfume” comes: Per Fume or Par Fumare in Latin (par la fumée in French means “by smoke”), to ‘cleanse’ the air of evil spirits during the service.

2. Perfume was also used in the form of ointment for the mummification of celebrities and for bathing divine statues.

Deodorized alcohol was not invented until around the eighteenth century – so for the previous many thousands of years perfume was in oils, waxes and butters.

A solid perfume base encapsulates the perfume and protects the natural skin barrier, which is normally broken down by alcohol and water.

Solid perfume has many advantages:

• It can be applied in public spaces
• Not as much sillage – if you don’t want people to smell you coming…
• Easy to travel with
• Interacts better with your personal scent
• Has a higher absolute content than conventional perfumes
• Better for your skin – there is no alcohol in the products that removes the natural skin barrier
• Apply like a normal perfume… put it in the ends of your hair… dissolve in oil and get a fragrant body oil
• Less waste – no fancy bottles and foils – the packaging of our products has already been recycled once and can be recycled again
• We do not transport water and alcohol around on Europe’s highways

Visit our stand and try our 40 different solid perfumes and also try combining them to create your own unique perfume.
